Dimensioning and Tolerancing Survey (IRB -2023-1274)

We need your help!

We are a multi-institution team conducting a research study exploring the current state of dimensioning and tolerancing pedagogy in post-secondary classrooms. We are seeking survey responses from faculty and/or staff who teach a course(s) that includes topics such as, dimensioning, tolerancing, metrology, and/or technical standards in context to product specification. Relevant course titles might include descriptors such as:

  • Engineering Drawings/Graphics
  • Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing (GD&T)
  • Computer-Aided Design (CAD)
  • Computer-Aided Manufacturing (CAM)
  • Computer-Aided Engineering (CAE)
  • Model-Based Definition (MBD)
  • Product Design Specification
  • Quality Control/Assurance

We ask that you forward this email to any colleagues who you believe should be part of the study population. Instructors of these courses and yourself if applicable, can participate in the research study by clicking the survey link (https://purdue.ca1.qualtrics.com/jfe/form/SV_0H6Xtcyq2kEainY)
